The stunning view of horses from the room was delightful, and the heartwarming gesture of preparing a special treat for my dog during breakfast made me feel truly welcomed.

The smell of dogs was overwhelming upon arrival, which made it difficult to relax. The barking at night disrupted our sleep, leaving us tired the next day. The shared shower had noticeable spiders, causing concern about cleanliness standards.

I had a lovely stay at Crookedstone House. The hosts, Primrose and Steven, were warm and helpful, making me feel right at home. The breakfast had a delightful selection, and I enjoyed the beautiful view of the working farm from my room.

An overpowering smell of dogs filled the property, making it difficult to breathe upon arrival. The room had unclean sheets, and the overall hygiene left much to be desired. The hosts were unavailable during check-in, which added to the unsettling experience. Despite being dog lovers, this visit turned out to be disappointing and unpleasant due to the lack of cleanliness and hospitality.

I had a lovely night at this charming old house that exudes character and warmth. The shared bathroom was surprisingly nice and had great water pressure in the shower! The host was wonderful to chat with, making me feel welcome and comfortable during my stay. I wish I could have enjoyed a breakfast, but I left too early to try it.
